Part Two of our multi-part webinar series centered on the topic of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) emphasized the importance of developing business relationships with hardware, software and IaaS providers to ensure 100% uptime even in the face of a disaster.
The second webinar of the series took place Thursday, August 14, 2014 and featured guest speaker Shawn Gordon, Senior Technical Sales Professional from NeverFail, Inc. Hosted by OnRamp’s Senior Director of Technical Services and Chief Architect, John Thurik, the two discussed the following topics:
– Overview of OnRamp’s Services and Solutions
– Overview of NeverFail’s Services and Solutions
– The combined OnRamp/NeverFail Disaster Recovery Solution
Neverfail’s approach to DR/BC follows what the company calls a complete IT Continuity Management Lifecycle where, in conjunction with OnRamp’s colocation, managed hosting, disaster recovery or private clouds, offers a complete solution for businesses using OnRamp Austin or Raleigh data centers as a backup site to easily fail over operations in the event of a disaster.
Most of NeverFail’s technology validation as a provider of DR/BC solutions comes in their work with Original Equipment Manufacturers and OnRamp partner’s, Cisco and VMware. And aside from offering server-level protection such as in the case of their work with many OnRamp customers, NeverFail also provides application-level and site-level protection as well.
